How can I find a particular village if I don't know the region?
To search for a particular location in any of the countries in our database, simply use the Village Seach below the main search box in the menu at the left. Even if you don't know the exact spelling of the village you're after, the search results will provide you the option of searching for similarly sounding villages.

Why can't I specify the exact number of days I want to stay?
Most villa-style accommodation in Europe is let on a weekly booking cycle. While there are a few properties available that allow alternative time frames, the vast majority allow only single or multiple week bookings.

What is flexibility?
Flexibility is when you can bend something and it doesn't break. In the RentaVilla context, it is the number of days either side of the Date you specify that you are willing to accept as the first day of your stay. As most properties operate on a weekly booking cycle from Saturday to Saturday, if you specify a Date on a Wednesday and "No Flexibility" you will receive very few or no available properties in your search results.

What is Google Earth?
Google Earth is a cool satellite image mapping application from Google that allows users to fly around a virtual earth and explore locations in incredible detail. You can learn more about Google Earth at it's official home page, or download a version for free.
RentaVilla provides links to Google Earth for most of the villages in which we have properties. These links will take you to the location of the village in Google Earth, from where you can explore the surrounding countryside from the comfort of your own living room. The Google Earth community provides a wealth of additional information on places of interest, sporting facilities, restaurants and even photographs from the local area.
